Glam Glam Productions and Buddies and Bad Times Theatre's latest quarterly sensation seeks contestants for an Amateur Drag Contest (semi-professionals welcome).
Come out, strut your stuff along side our hosts, Canada's premier drag troupe, The B-Girlz at Tallulah's Cabaret as you clamour for glamour and the coveted "Gownie" as well as a cash prize of $100.
All contestants must perform a 3 -5 minute number - the more creative the better. Winners will be chosen by the audience.

Buddies in Bad Times Theatre - 12 Alexander Street, Toronto
GOWNTOWN, a night of drag performers - “old”, “new” and “only on a dare” - who compete to become audience favourite and win a WIRE HANGER, $100, plus a $50 gift certificate from OUT ON THE STREET. (2nd place gets a dildo!).
“Fly” & “Straight” resident DJ & producer DWAYNE MINARD, gets your “hands up in the air” with chunky, funky disco/ house - and riding sidesaddle, “DJHK” (DJ Hard Kora).
Come early as front row seats are bound to fill up as Canada’s first and only all-male burlesque troupe "BOYLESQUE TO" special guest. Guaranteed to leave you hot under the buckle!
JADE ELEKTRA stops by GOWNTOWN “AFTER HOURS” showing off her new wedding ring and bringing a taste of NYC fierceness. An experienced female impersonator, vocalist and recording artist, Jade’s new remix "Bitch You Look Fierce" is now out on iTunes.

ANN walked away with a wire hanger and 100 bucks. Her rendition of “Hey Big Spender” won the hearts and gag reflexes of the Gowntowners.
