Since
graduating from the Canadian Film
Centre CTV Prime Time Writing
Program, Mark has been working
steadily as a writer/story editor
for such shows as Canada’s Next Top
Model (City TV), Rich Bride, Poor
Bride (Slice) and Mr. Friday
(Slice).
Mark also has a Bachelor’s Honours Degree
in Fine Arts (specialty in Music) from
York University, an Honours Degree from
Ryerson University in Radio and
Television Arts and two years at Sheridan
College’s Musical Theatre Performance
Program.
For over 10 years, Mark has worked in
various areas of the entertainment
industry including; running his own
business as a talent agent at Premier
Artists Ltd, as a casting assistant on
numerous productions including; The
Comedy Network’s Elvira Kurt’s The
Adventures in Comedy, CBC’s Jonovision,
numerous feature films and movies of the
week and as an actor. Mark created and
performs with a popular musical comedy
troupe, The B-Girlz, which perform all
over North America and have written and
produced three short films that have been
screened all over the world.
Mark has performed in a variety of
projects both on his own and with The
B-Girlz including; Queer as Folk
(Showcase), Jonovision (CBC), Ken Kostick
& Company (Food Network), The Goods
(Life Network), Mass Appeal (Bravo) and a
number of television commercials.
